What can quietly break on a Cal.com booking link
Booking links are deceptively fragile. The page renders fine for you when you click it, but a tiny config drift means it doesn't work for the prospect you sent it to three weeks ago.
Your booking link silently 404s
You rename an event type, change a slug, or restructure your team — and suddenly the link you sent to a prospect last Tuesday goes nowhere. They don't tell you. They just don't book.
Your custom domain breaks
You pointed cal.yourdomain.com to Cal.com. A DNS change at your registrar, an SSL rotation, and the booking page stops loading. Your CTAs across every landing page silently die.
Your self-hosted instance goes down
Running Cal.com on your own infrastructure for control? Great — until your container restarts and forgets to come back up. You don't notice until a meeting request fails.
Calendar sync breaks
Cal.com loses sync with Google or Outlook. The booking page still loads, but it's showing wrong availability — overbooking you or hiding all your slots. Your customers think you're a flake.
Page loads slowly
Cal.com pages that load in 5+ seconds destroy your conversion rate. We measure response time on every check — if your booking page starts crawling, you'll know.
What we watch on your Cal.com setup
Paste your booking URL. We figure out what to check and start watching every few minutes — from servers on every continent.
We also measure how fast the page loads. If response time creeps up, your conversion rate drops with it.
- Your main booking page (e.g., cal.com/yourname)
- Specific event-type links you actively share
- Your custom domain (if you use one)
- Your SSL certificate (alert before it expires)
- Page response time on every check
- Heartbeat for self-hosted instances

Cal.com-specific questions
Does this work for self-hosted Cal.com instances?
Yes — both Cal.com-hosted and self-hosted. For self-hosted, we can also watch the underlying server with a heartbeat in case the public URL is healthy but the database isn't.
Can you tell if a customer can actually book a meeting?
We can verify the booking page loads, renders correctly, and responds quickly. We don't submit fake bookings (that'd clutter your calendar). For end-to-end booking flow testing, you'd want a separate test booking on a recurring schedule.
Can I monitor multiple event types?
Yes. Each event-type URL is just a different watch. Solo plan ($7/mo) covers 10 watches — typically plenty even if you have a few event types and a backup link.
Will Cal.com rate-limit my checks?
No. We check every few minutes — barely a blip in their traffic. We look like a single visitor hitting your booking page on a schedule.
Does it work with team-based Cal.com setups?
Yes. Watch the team URL, individual member URLs, or both. Multi-watch is what Maker plan is for (30 watches at $19/mo).
What about Calendly or other booking tools?
Same approach — we watch the public URL of any booking tool. If Calendly's link works the same way, we watch it the same way. Bookem, SavvyCal, TidyCal — all fine.
Stop checking your own booking link every morning.
We watch it for you. You stay in flow.
