A custom domain is what identifies your website. By adding a custom domain, you’ll be able to use it with your Status Page. You can follow the steps below to set up a new custom domain.
Step 1: Navigate to the Connect Custom Domain Button
1.1 Once on the Custom Domains page you’ll see a + Connect Custom Domain button near the top right corner. Click it.
Step 2: Enter The Required Information
2.1 Enter your domain or subdomain here.
2.2 Enter your custom index URL. This will be the URL your visitors will redirect to if your visitors land on the index of the domain, in case you don’t want to use the custom domain for a single status page. This is optional.
2.3 Enter a Custom 404 not found URL. This will be the URL your visitors will redirect to if visitors land on a “not found” page of the domain. This is optional.
2.4 Click the Create button to connect your custom domain.
Step 3: View the Confirmation Screen
3.1 Once your custom domain is created, you’ll see a message on the next screen confirming your custom domain connection. The status may be listed as pending for up to 24 hours given that all information is input correctly.
